I support the establishment and maintenance of a network of no-take marine sanctuaries* equalling approximately 10% of our enclosed Bay of Islands area** for a generation (25 years).

*Marine Sanctuary = 100% no-take, no fishing, no shell fish collecting, no removal of any part of the marine eco-system.

**The locations of the marine sanctuaries will be determined by the local community.
